Restore missing teeth with fixed support
A fixed dental bridge bridges the gap created by one or more missing teeth. It utilizes the healthy teeth on either side of the empty space as anchors (abutments) to support a custom-crafted false tooth (pontic) suspended in the middle.
Adjacent teeth will tip or drift into the gap, destabilizing your bite
Opposing teeth in the other jaw can drift vertically (over-erupt) into the space
Food debris traps in shifting areas, causing gum disease and decay on neighboring teeth
| Feature | Fixed Dental Bridge | Removable Partial Denture |
|---|---|---|
| Bite Stability | Cemented firmly in place; zero movement while eating | Sits on gum tissue; prone to shifting during speech |
| Comfort & Feel | Feels just like your natural teeth within days | Bulkier metal/acrylic components can feel awkward |
| Maintenance | Cleaned inside the mouth with simple floss threaders | Must be removed daily, cleaned, and soaked overnight |
